GMC-CDO took part in a Tree Planting Activity last November 13, 2021 at the Malasag Reforestation Site, Cugman, Cagayan de Oro City in partnership with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources. The said activity aims to promote the tree planting and reforestation program for the conservation, protection and enhancement of the Malasag Reforestation Site, an 800-hectare major reforestation project of the government as part of the Cugman Watershed.
Eighteen (18) GenMillers and 3rd Party Employees joined the activity, and were able to plant 300 Narra seedlings. A Certificate of Tree Planting from the DENR was given to GMC CDO for their sincere and active participation during the Tree Planting Activity.
This is the second tree planting activity which GMC CDO did this year. This is also part of the company’s commitment to Social Responsibility.
