To help prepare the Pajo Elementary School for its face-to-face classes, GMC Cebu showed its spirit of volunteerism by participating in the school’s Brigada Eskwela Program last August 13, 2022.
The activity started with a short program where stakeholders, including General Milling Corporation, got to talk and present their commitment to the school. Volunteers and stakeholders sealed their commitment by signing the Commitment Wall.
Then, the cleaning and repainting activities started. Genmillers and a number of volunteers helped one another cleaned the school premises, and repainted the Don Tirso Uytengsu Bldg., a building named after the founder of GMC. Electrical wirings of the said building were also fixed by the GMC’s Electricians.
The volunteers together with the stakeholders (Barangay Pajo, Parents-Teachers Association and General Milling Corporation).
