GMC Cebu provides school supplies to selected Pajo ES students

As a continued support to Pajo Elementary School, General Milling Corporation gave school bags and school supplies to Grade 1 and Grade 2 students last August 27, 2022. The activity has become an annual support of GMC to Pajo Elementary School as part of its commitment to provide sustainable projects in the community. The activity also aims to aid the financial expenses of the parents in buying school supplies for their children, and at the same time, help the students prepare for their face-to-face classes.

A total of 583 Grade 1 & 2 students received the school bags and school supplies which consist of writing pads, notebooks, pencil case, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, crayons, bond papers, etc. Packed meals were also given to the students.

Ms. Paz Tecson, School Principal gave a welcome remarks during the activity. She also introduced the stakeholders of the activity.

   

Students actively participated the Q and A game of Sir Toto Parco, GMC Executive Vice-President. A Grade 1 student won a cash prize after guessing the correct number of years since GMC started its operation in Lapu-Lapu City.

Mr. Edwin Kho, GMC Finance Director, also led the giving of school bags and school supplies during the activity.
