GMC successfully passed a comprehensive 3-day onsite surveillance audit of SGS Philippines, Inc. last November 29 to December 1, 2023 for FSSC 22000 Version 5.1 scheme. FSSC 22000 is one of the highest international food safety certification schemes given global recognition by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), a non-profit association of international industry experts committed to improving food safety along the value chain.

GMC’s passing the intricate review and assessment of its Food Safety and Quality Management Systems not only confirms its consistent conformance to scheme requirements such as food safety hazard analysis, allergen management, food defense, food fraud prevention, and good hygiene practices, but also demonstrates top leadership commitment to drive its sustainability in supporting regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, and business growth.

This milestone maintained GMC’s position as one of the few industry key players with globally-recognized food safety system certification. This was made possible by the unwavering support of the Management, the Food Safety Team, our strategic partners, and all Genmillers.

As GMC gears toward sustaining the certification with an upgraded version 6 of the FSSC 22000 scheme, GMC’s management and all employees continually commit to deliver safe and high-quality products and services to its loyal partners and to the community while cultivating a positive and proactive food safety and quality culture.
