In observance of the Liturgical Season of Lent, General Milling Corporation – Cebu held a Lenten recollection on April 4, 2023 at the GMC Function Room with the theme: Spirituality in the workplace. The activity is part of the Family Welfare Program under the General Labor Standards of Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) which aims to help employees feel happier, peaceful and find more meaning in their work.
It was a moment of reflection and contemplation for the GMC employees; steered to live the gospel of God so as to bring the message of hope and love, and to render sacrifices in their own little ways. Renowned Reverend Father Cresenciano “Ciano” Ubod of San Vicente Ferrer Parish in Lilo-an, Cebu was the resource speaker of the said event.
It was indeed a day to behold as the participants made resolution for the sacrament of confession and penance, afterwards.
Rev. Fr. Ubod made the session fun while injecting meaningful experiences to draw some inspiration.
To maximize the attendance of the employees, the session was done in a hybrid set-up (face-to-face and virtual).
